This episode takes you on a tour of FastTrack Hobbies, a Northern California hobby shop specializing in slot car racing. The shop features three massive indoor slot car tracks, a wide variety of RC vehicles, and a friendly community of hobbyists. We learn about the history of the shop, the basics of slot car racing, and meet some of the passionate individuals who make FastTrack Hobbies a unique destination. We catch up with award winning scale builder Elio Deanda (who I met at Axialfest in 2019!). He shows us his latest build and invites you all to his next scale off-roading event that he runs called Scale Challenge West. So awesome to chat with staff member and fellow RC Girl Allison about her role in the shop after 3 years there.
